Charge
The University Advisory Council on Internal Communication will serve as an advisory/working group that will:
- provide feedback from the °Ç¸çºÚÁÏ community
- advise on policies and initiatives and guide priorities
- assist with communication tasks and initiatives, and
- educate the community on the role and responsibilities of students, employees, and other stakeholders to stay informed.
Goal
To build trust among and within the °Ç¸çºÚÁÏ community through better internal communication.
Role
Provide feedback from all internal stakeholders to the Director of Internal Communications and the President to create a communication strategy that leads to improved morale, employees feeling valued, a better-informed campus and overall institutional strength.
Assist with establishing and supporting initiatives that breakdown the perception of silos, engender a collective mindset and shapes expectations for the °Ç¸çºÚÁÏ community regarding the needs, challenges, and realistic solutions for internal communications.
