Student Exhibition Opportunities

The Galleries at °Ç¸çºÚÁÏ give students the chance to show their work in our public gallery spaces during the academic year. Our two current opportunities—the Juried Student Show and Project Open Call—are open to °Ç¸çºÚÁÏ students who've taken a digital or studio art class in the last two semesters. We encourage students to submit strong examples of their work for consideration in the group and solo exhibitions that result from these open calls.

Juried Student Show

Held annually in the Martin-Mullen Art Gallery at the end of spring semester, students may submit artwork created in a digital or studio art course within the past two semesters, which is ranked by the Art Department's full-time faculty for inclusion in the Juried Student Show alongside faculty-submitted student work. A guest juror selects award winners from the final exhibition.

Project Open Call

Project Open Call is an open call program that accepts student applications at the end of every semester for consideration in shows in the following semester. Personal work and coursework may be submitted for inclusion as a curated group exhibition, or original proposals for a solo or group show. The Gallery Director and Gallery Advisory Committee review submissions, with exhibitions held in the Project Space Gallery.
